visual artThe Division of Visible Arts (DoVA) on the College of North Georgia is a multi-campus, pupil-centered department that fosters quality schooling, service, inquiry, and creativity. Many visible arts majors spend their junior 12 months discovering inspiration abroad. Benefit from the work of nearly 50 native artists. The School of Visual Artwork and Design is where art meets technology in an atmosphere of creativity and objective. Intriguing parallels exist between the issues and strategies of artists and the organization of the visible mind.

2,000 Degrees: A Fireplace Odyssey is a three-dimensional exhibition that features whimsical hand-constructed ceramic sculptures by Japanese artist Kensuke Yamada and exquisite glass creations by Danville native Stephen Rolfe Powell, and highlights new collaborative pieces created by the artists particularly for this show.
