Types Of Aquariums.
Various kinds of aquariums exist but not all of them are meant for fish. Aquatic plants aquariums also exist and they are also attractive. One of the simplest aquariums is the fish bowl. In choosing a fish bowl, it should be one that is big enough. A small fish net and two, one gallon bottles are required in setting up bowl aquarium. Tap water is not healthy for fish. Water that is treated should also not be used. Floating fish food is also vital for feeding the fish. The water in the bowl should be replaced every week. Water from the tap should only be used after some type of treatment. This is achieved by filling a one gallon water bottle half water, putting in water conditioner and tightly placing a cap. It is then left for three days before it can be used.
The other type is the cool water aquarium. They aquariums are placed in a room at the normal temperature and do not require a heater. An aquarium, aquarium stand and its cover are the requirements in setting up cool water aquarium. Additionally, one needs to have a five inch fish net, fish food and water conditioner. Reading the instructions contained in the aquarium and the water conditioner is however important. After the structure is complete, one should wait for three days before placing fish inside. Each fish should be introduced at its own time but with a three week period from when one is placed to the time another one will be placed. One foot fish should be calculated to have one gallon of water. This helps avoid overcrowding for the fish.
Warm water aquarium is another type of quarium. To maintain this type of aquarium, one requires some skills. An aquarium, aquarium cover, a stand and a power filter with BIO-wheel are the requirements needed to setup the structure. A water conditioner and fish net of about 5 inch are also a requirement. Additionally, fish foods such as the floating flake food and freeze dried blood worms.
One can also decide to also have a betta fish vase aquarium. In the past, buyers of betta fish vase have been told that betta fish can survive by eating lily roots alone. Even though the fish eats the lily roots, it is not the most healthy option. The variety that should be fed to the food includes floating food and dried blood worms.
